Calling all experts !! Eyetoy Kinetic....HELP !!

I purchased the Eyetoy Kinetic game & when I try to play it, it gets to the credits of the game then the DVD drive starts vibrating & the game does not load. My PS2 has been modified with a fliptop, & I do use HD Advance to backup my games. This problem however is when trying to play the original game. I also tried backing the game up with HD Advance, but it too gets to a point & the drive starts vibrating & it will not copy. I did try the game on a friends PS2 & the game loads fine. Not sure why this is happening. This is the only game this happens with.
