I really want xbox 360 for my birthday so badly. Its 17 days away! I keep on asking me dad but he says "Yea right", "Never" ect. Can anyone give some tips or tell how you get 360.

I doubt you're old enough to do that yet and saving allowance probably won't help much either. Tell your dad that the 360 has been modded so he won't have to pay $59.99 for any games. Just get a DL burner and burn your own games. Most parents think "Ok, I buy this 400 dollar system, he'll want games every week"

Tell him "I won't ever have to buy any games" and explain to him the modding process. Might work.

I doubt im going to mod my 360, maybe 2 years after the warrenty runs out, but not when i get it. Another question. Do you think theres a chance of 360 going out of business ect?

Every system dies. Every one of them. Technology moves on. Do I personally think the 360 will fail? No. Not in the US anyway. If you're not going to mod your 360 then I really suggest you trying to do anything you can to come up with some money yourself. Cut grass, take out trash, wash cars, whatever it takes. Show your dad how much you want one by earning one yourself.

Oh yeah, parents always say No when you ask them for birthday presents. It'll make you more excited when you actually do get one. Imagine him saying "Yeah, I'll get it" and then you bug him every day for 17 days to play it early.

Thanks for the quick response. Ill continue to ask/bug him.I just really don't want to take a chance on messing up a $400 system, know what i mean.

The reason why i don't have much confidence bc i failed on soft modding my xbox bc of fiddling around with the dashboards, which eventually lead to it getting broken. That was $200 when i brought it. So....You get the point. Well thanks for the reply, i appreciate it.
