Question No. 1. How are you putting you games on your hard drive?
Question No. 2. How are you using a hard drive without any knowledge of the modes?

I used HDLoader and hooked my hard drive up to my PC and transfer my ISO using WinHiip. I myself am not familiar with HDAdvance. With HdLoader, when my menu comes up with the list of all my games on it, if I hit the select button on the pS2 controller, it will allow me to change the mode on the game. Try it on HDAdvance and tell us what happeneds.

I'm sorry, i 4got to mention i have a utility cd. It has hd loader as well as hd advanced. So all i have to do is hit select and it will change the mode? What are the differences with the modes? also, can u have all the modes on at once? and does it matter if the game is taken from a torrent site? (cause it plays from the disk but wen i try to load it, it doesn't load up). Thanx 4 the help. . .

I'm not an expert on this topic, so don't get mad if I offer bad advice. As far as modes go, I myself am not really sure as to what they do, I just put all 33 games on my HardDrive at mode 3 except Black which was not set to any mode and the Scarface game which was set to modes 1 & 2.

whenever I put a game on my HDD i just enable all modes. I did the same with JLH and whenver I play this game it keeps freezing for a few seconds and it is really annoying. Would maybe rebuilding the iso help? or is there maybe a fix somewhere?
The line below is true.
The line above is false.
Which line is true and which is false?

To get it into Mode 3 on HDadvance
When you get the list of games on the hard disk, move to the game you want and hit the SELECT key on the controler. This gives a menu. Mode 3 is the third option. Mode 1 is first etc. Press 'X' to chane to Yes/No, i.e. enable or disable. Then hit SELECT to save.
full details are here

Hope this helps.
P.S. my first post, hope it's OK.

I've played the game from the HD (mode 3) but I keep getting corrupt saves that wont load. I wonder if it's because I'm using the 16 Mb max memory card. I remember Resident evil 4 was that way. Anyone else having this problem????
