VOB files show up as type MPEG in Windows Explorer

Using DVD Shrink, I can successfully copy a DVD. However. when I look at the files via windows explorer, they have the extension MPEG. This is a problem when I try to burn as the software is looking for VOB files.
Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

when you convert your files from avi/wmv etc to mpeg2 the dvd burning format you will have a VOB file as the end product.Basically VOB and mpeg2 are the same.You just need to use something like imgburn or Nero recode that will reconize the mpeg/vob and you will be right
