Hi, I'm looking for help from anyone who has experience with using Breaker Pro. I just recently ordered the Breaker Pro 1.1 boot disc from modchip.ca, and it arrived without any scratches or warps on the disc. I am at my wits end trying to get this boot disc to work on my PS2 (a v5, flip top installed and frequently used with Swap Magic 3.6). I've consulted these forums and tried all sorts of suggested booting combinations, cleaned my PS2 lens, adjusted the Tangential Skew, and nothing works. It just makes a loud grinding sound with a black screen for a really long time, then takes me to the browser menu where it says a PS1 disc is inserted, but when I select it it just repeats the process I just descibed. And whats even more frustrating, the Breaker Pro disc DOES boot without any problems on my roommate's non-modded PS2!
All this being so, I'm ready to give up and try using Breaker Pro on my PS-One, the smaller, newer version (unless of course anyone knows how to actually correct my specific PS2 problem). The problem is, I'm having a very hard time following the very vauge instructions included with the CD. If anyone could possibly please instruct me on how to propperly install the PVC card and then what to do with it once the PVC card is installed I would REALLY appreciate it. I also have the older, rectangular PlayStation if anyone knows how to install and use metallic spring also included with the CD if that's earier to use. Any responses are greatly appreciated, hopefully someone knows how to instruct me with these older PlayStations. THANK YOU!!
