I just got my kids a new PS2 SCPH-77001 V15 for there B-Day, and I want to put in the BEST Mod Chip I can get. I Am a Computer and Electronic tech, so soldering is not an issue.

This is the our first console game. I have allways backuped PC games..

But I am real confused to which Chip will work the best with the new Ver 15..

Is that a black ps2 or sliver?
Because I think there is no V15 a scph-77001 is I think a silver version of the scph-75002

No one knows which is the best chip for this new Slim Line Model?

How to burn the swap magic dvd and cd?

I did with the image but when i put in my ps2 nothing hapen?

do i have to choose the speed or the dvd brand name?

and what is the best way for my ps2? SCPH-77001SS

Joe2006, unless you have a mod chip burning swap magic will not work.
You can not back it up, you would need an original copy of Swap Magic to load it like any other back up.
Do a freakin search as this is a million year old question.

rsmed. I would check a few online stores that sell mod chips to see which chips are compatible.
DMS4 Pro SE, Chrystal Chip V1.1 & Matrix Infinity are the top 3
If you buy a Matrix Infinity get it from a reputable place as there are clone chips out there.
