Ok so i ripped the files off a disk...I deleted everything I didn't want...I only kept the VOB files of the actual movie. HOW DO I JUST BURN THEM TO A DISK SO THEY WORK IN A DVD PLAYER??? I tried Nero Burning Rom and like nothing will play it. My PS2 says "TV System does not match". And I just tried Nerovision and it got stuck with 2 seconds left in the encoding phase....wtf
I have the entire Nero suite
dvd shrink
dvdfab

Thanks

If you only kept the VOB's and not the IFO or BUPs then that's the problem. Try reripping again and keeping the above that go with the main movie or use the following on your VOB files

1) Download IFOEdit. It is a tiny appliction and is free
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_...ols/ifoedit.cfm
2) Run IFOEdit and click on the button at the bottom that says Create IFOs.

3) Select the 1st VOB file in the series that you have saved (vts_01_1.......vts_01_2)

4) Click OK

5) It will take a little while depending on the speed of your system, however, it will analyze all of the VOB files in your directory and create the necessary IFO and BUP files.

6) You can now burn your DVDs the regular way.

Or if you don't want to download more stuff.

1. You rerip the dvd.
2.Open dvdshrink then open the video ts folder from the dvdrip.
3. Select "reauthor" form the top of shrink, and then drag the "main movie" over to the little window.
4. Then at the top hit "backup". Now you have just the movie files you want.
5. Open up Nero bruning ROM and locate your files.
6. Drag and drop everything into the video ts folder of your Nero project and burn.

:-)

@TyRock22

You can also use Nero Recode if you have the Nero Suit. Just re rip the DVD to your HDD and then run Nero Recode2. Nero Recode has a few different Options you can choose from.

1 Option is to do movie only and edit out stuff you do not want (Subtitles/Audio)

Even tho the above suggestions other members gave do work I just wanted to suggest using Recode2 since you already have that program and would not have to download any other software.

There is 1 more thing I am concerned about. It could be nothing but getting the error (TV System does not match) usually means you are trying to play a PAL disc on an NTSC system. You still could have got this error from editing out and deleting to much of the files as you stated you did above.

If this is a PAL DVD and you have an NTSC system that is not compatible with PAL then you will need to use Nero Vision Express at this time to convert from PAL to NTSC.

Yeap your right my mistake.

There are so many other choices. But I think we all do agree he needs to re-rip the DVD to the HDD.

Below are a few Guides for you to check out.

lol ok thanks

I don't remember why I deleted everything...i think it was because when i tried to hit "open folder or files or whatever" in DVD Shrink it gave me an error about an IFO file with the name of like VOB_26 or something...like the last one...and it was pissin me off so i deleted everything but the basic movie VOBs
