How can I play a DVD movie on high definition?????

I just wanted to know if there is anyway at all to play a DVD movie at 1080i on the xbox 360. I bought and LCD television and the games look awesome but the movies look a little bit blurry, please any help would be great.

hi m8

you cant watch dvds in your xbox360 in 1080i mode but what you can do is for around £80 get yourself a Samsung hd player which comes with hdmi fitting on the back of it and if you have hdmi on the back of your tv then you can get the 1080i picture you are looking for,if your tv issnt fitted with hdmi then it will have some form of hi-def connection and all you need is the additional lead to go with it.it does look better as i use one with my 32 in Samsung r7 lcd

the dvd player is Samsung DVD-HD850 and should be available on Amazon etc
