ok i had to buy phillips dvd+r's cause they were sold out of verbatium. im just wondering has anyone else used them to burn games cause all the ones iv done so far havent worked at all of extreamly bad.
they are phillips X16 DVD+R 4.7GB (the germany 2006 ones, not special white top ones for printing on)

@creagh: Ever thought about checking them against the media code in "The OFFICIAL best media thread" sticky?
Phillips aren't that good, and you're better off going for 8x discs anyway.

@pawanhv: Nice hijacking of someone else's topic!
Only about 1% of PS2 can read RW discs, and even if yours can, it's not really advised as they put more strain on the laser than a -R or +R
