Just got it put in. Should I update the firmware? Just wanna make sure its not gonna stop me from burning 360 games. Thanks

Yeah my friend is 360noob I was at his house when I posted it. Didn't relize that I was on his name lol We split the cost of burner and ripper and gamefly in half... Pretty sick. But You think the newest one would be on the pionner website!?! but tell me what ya got.

Oh ok. I was just looking at pionner.com then under support and it just had an older one. So is this an .exe? Or do I have to play with it? Not at my friends pc were the junk is.

Hey,you could have started a new thread as this was sleeping deeply,but nevermind.Just right click on my computer,go in properties,click on the hardware tab,click on device manager,then click on the + sign for DVD/CD-ROM Drives,right click on your pioneer drive and go in details,you'll see your pioneer's firmware version.

an easy way to find your drive firmware is to start DVD Decrypter ,choose your drive ,then click tools ,drive ,check for firmware updates
it will tell you the firmware of the drive and will open the firmware page
