Sorry about my post, i know its a simple question lol
my command prompt has been disabled.

when i open up command prompt i get this message
"The command prompt has been disabled by your computer administrator"
I'm the computer administrator, I know its weird right.
Could you tell me how to enable it again? any help can do

For Windows XP Professional (not Home)

Go to Start, Run, gpedit.msc

Under User Configuration go to:

Administrative Templates\System

Find - Prevent access to the command prompt

Set to Not Configured.

I run the gpedit.msc and go to User Configuration Administrative Templates\System and double-click on Prevent access to the command prompt then instead of Clicking "Not configured".
but then I clicked the "Disable" Tab. It grant access to the command prompt and now i can use it again. TNX a lot Morph416 tnx so very much, and for bkf appreciate the link.. Thank you all :)
