I just recently bought a swap magic 3.6 Plus dvd version and CD. I tried two games i riped GTA SA and Scarface and i can't get them to work. I also burnt them on two disic formats DVD-R and DVD-RW and i don't see why this isn't working can you please help me out here.

What brand of DVD Media are you using sometimes it can play a huge factor on how/if the games play.

Maxell(MIJ)
Taiyo Yuden

are in my opinion the best kinds you can buy.

For a start, never use RW discs. Most PS2's cant read them, and even if you're lucky enough to have a PS2 that does, then prolonged use with them will wear your laser out a lot quicker.
Stick with the -R discs, and make sure they're good quality. Check the Best Media thread.
As for Scarface, had you done a forum search, then you'd of found out, that even on good media, that game needs ZoneLoader as an additional swap to boot it with any version of Swap Magic higher than v2.0

Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure dvd+r's that are booktyped to dvd-rom are more compatible then -r's. Thats what i do and have never ever had a problem and i have over 80 backed up games. so i use Maxell(MIJ) DVD+r's Booktyped to DVD-rom and thats perfect everytime.

A common misconception. ALL PS2's will read -R, but a very small percentage won't read +R.
Also, -R don't need to be booktyped, as they're already recognised as DVD-ROM discs.
Finally, not all burners CAN booktype.
Adding all these factors together is the reason why -R are more compatible, and why I recommended using them, so there's no chance of running into any problems.
And I've got over 2000 backed up games over the last 4 years or so, on RITEK -R, every one of them still works & I've NEVER had a single problem or coaster.
