im new to the whole 360 world,i got it modded and all,i did not update anything infact i unplugged the wire from the internet,but i put in a copy of NFS:Carbon and it tells me i have to update to play the game...now im not sure what its updating...and i would like to know if its safe

i think i have a samsung drive

updates from games doesnt matter,, the be carefull of the updates online.

Unless they decided to bring a ban out on a game, though I think they'd do this through XBox Live anyway as not everyone with modded firmware will buy the same games.
