I recently installed 2 dvd burners on my computer. Now when I try to use DVD Shrink, and open a disk, it says no disc. I've tried both discs, but both give the same answer.

First, I would suggest you make sure that the firmware for both burners is upto date. You can use the utility from the link provided to first determine what firmware version is currently installed, just download and run it.

Next, see if an update is available (click on the link), if so, download and install it, just enter your burner's model# in the search field.

If you install an update and are still unable to open the disk using shrink, then try ripping the DVDs video files to your hard drive using DVDFab decrypter found here;

Once DVDFab is done, open the files it ripped to your hard drive using shrink (using the open files tab) and proceed as you normally would with the backup.
