argh... i was so happy......
i just got this awsome phone (my friends old one) but when i try and call it, it doesnt work :(

And the phone says it has no reception :( there goes my excitement, right down the drain lol

In Australia.
Im with Telstra and my friend gave me this phone, which is an old one of his that
he found the other day in his room :P

there is nothing wrong with the sim card, because im still using my old phone at the moment.

The antenna must be broken or something on this phone.

It must be a hardware problem mate.

Have you tried another sim from a different network (not Optus, or Telstra) try a Vodafone sim (a 3 sim will not work) just to make sure that it is not a network problem.
