I recently had to reformat my C: and, accordingly, had to reinstall all my DVD backup utilities.

I usually go DVDfab -> VobBlanker -> menushrink -> dvdshrink

I had NEVER had any problems since I started using that method.

Once I reinstalled everything I have not been able to burn a DVD successfully yet. My problem comes when DVD Shrink is encoding. at about 30% through encoding I get a "invalid handle" error, then a "Programming Error - Exception Occured." Then it all shuts down.

I am trying to burn directly from the DVD now, will post how it works when I'm not backing up from ripped files.

Anyone know what may be causing this? Any settings I simply forgot to change? The discs that have been giving me trouble are Lost Season 2 discs 2-7.

update: It worked fine burning from disc (as opposed to from file) on a different DVD.

I had no trouble burning Lost season 2 disc 1 w/ the setup I use, but now these other discs won't go.
