PAL to NTSC Conversion Creates Vertical Hold Problem

I am trying to convert 2 different PAL dvd's to NTSC using DVD Shrink and Decrypter. The copied sound works fine but I cannot control the vertical hold on the video when playing the copied discs on the tv. The copied discs play fine on the computer. I have tried converting to both Region 1 and All Regions and get the same frustrating results. I've tried the discs on different dvd players and the problem persists. Anybody know how to deal with this or have suggestions? I'm using XP and Lite-On readers and writers and cd-r discs. Thanks.

I'm not sure how you would do a PAL/NTSC conversion using either of these programs. Also Decrypter will not burn to a CD as far as I know...

Setting/Changing the Region Code is something completely different than doing a PAL to NTSC conversion.

Your CDs (DVDs?) are probably remaining in the PAL format, which your computer can handle but your TV cannot.

To convert from PAL to NTSC you need to use a program that will re-encode from one format to the next.

ConvertXtoDVD or NeroVision would work. It will take quite a while to do the conversion.
