here I got a stuped question for all.. is it possible to burn a PC game in a ps2 format? like if I was to get "Rome Total War" for PC ( I don't think they have a ps2 version ) and burn it some how, that I can play it in my ps2.. or like, I get Burnout Revenge ( downloaded version for PC ) and convert it in a ps2 format so I can do the " burning" (jeje) in my ps2.. in theory everything is possible, but... "How"
you can, but you can't, even if its possible. the controls are not the same as programs on the pc uses keyboards not controllers.. hope you got that right.. :) Good Luck
Yeah, I had some Idea that it wasn't going to be possible, but you never know till u ask... and I did ... Thank u all... oh .. wait, question.. can you do it backwords?.. u know, from ps2 to pc.. wouldn't that be easier? anyways... peace out! and don't forget to exercise your right to vote//! got to go!
if it was possible, don't you think thst the game companies would sell their games for all platforms, instead of just one or two?
A game is written specifically for one platform / architecture, and it is impossible to convert it in either direction, without rew-riting it (the only exception being the PC and Xbox, which have a number of similarities, but still need a lot of work to convert to the other platform). Emulators do not convert games. What they do is read the game's instructions as they are being executed, and interpet them for the host platform. PS2 emulators are still in their infancy, and the games you want to play, will more than likely not work.
