How long does it take to backup the original firmware of the 360 drive? I did the mtkflash r /m orig.bin command and its been on the same screen for like 10 mins?

Yeah I have been having the same problem... I too have the m25. Any info on this will help. I used an hp pavilion 1330n with onboard sata. I think the problem is my sata... going to buying a card, but they are all out stock... anyone know where the right one is not out of stock?

@ 360noob... if you already have sata ports on your mobo, then you'll need to edit your mtkflash to work with it. Check out the sticky at the top of the forum about drive not detected.

never mind i got it to work. All I did was disconnect all of my pc drives before I did the flash and so far it seems to be working.

One more question. I have the pioneer burner (111d) with firmware 1.29. Do I have to change the booktype or any settings at all on it or does it not get affected?

yo 3questiones:
1.if i mod my xbox 360 and download games would i still be able to play on xbox live?

2.does anybody know the date for whene halo3 is coming out?

3. i heard that bungie is making halo for windows vista i thought halo was an only xbox-xbox360 game!?!?!?!!?!

Man frick.. Isn't there a program I can download in order to edit the mtkflash... or is there only one way and that is to go and edit the frigen hex with a hex workshop ect. ect... :(. thanks.

@Underdawg: 1) Yes for now you could, but that could change in the future. Use at your own risk. 2)Sometime next year. 3)From what I heard halo 2 is coming out for vista.

@360noob: So far that is the only method I know of.

@Bocaspur: go to 360mods.net and go to tutorials. Get whatever you need.
