I found this tutorial http://www.packetnews.com/forum/viewtopi...c304df5e84c8389 and i did everything. I placed the hdloader elf on the data folder i made and ran the psx game a white screen load with two menus O:filebrowser and select:config now how do i load the hdloader elf so my ps2 can detect the hdd im stock i have tried everything?

man, oh man, did you actually try hitting select to see what that did?

Hit select, then you should be at a screen that lets you setup the different buttons on teh controller. Then select whatever button you want the hdloader.elf file to run from, and then you press x i think, and that will have you find the file. Which is probably on a CD you burnt, correct? Well, the choices you first get are the different things on the system, like memory card = mc0 and mc1, MASS: is like usb port, HDD is harddrive, and i forget which the dvd drive is, should be obvious. click on that, and navigate the folders till you find the program.

When you made the exploit, you could of had it included in the exploit thingy, which then should be on your MC, unless you didn't set it up to install to your mc (you should of, loads the quickest that way).

I made my mc exploit so it loads up the launcherelf program, and i put all my elfs on a usb thumb drive and have it load it off of that. That way i don't have to make a new exploit when i get new elfs i want to try. plus it doesn't take up alot of space on the mc that way.

I got the hdloader running now but it wont detec my hard drive i heard that if i wanna use a 200gb u need to do some king of patch and mine is 200gb can u help me with this?

yes, 200 gig hd need the 48bit patch. any hd's above 120 gigs need the 48bit patch.
I've only had the Sony's 40 gig hd, plus it was used, so i never got any software with it. the hdloaders work at default for me.

I'm not really sure how you go about it. I have to run right now, maybe someone else can help you with it, when I get back and some time, i will see where the software you need it. I know you can find it, because i'm pretty sure i've downloaded it, so at worse i'll just upload it somewhere for you.
