So i've read quite a few of the threads, and I am new to the forum, but i am having some unique problems with backing up and burning ps2 games. If i put in a DVD movie, my drive (a DVD-R only, i do not have a dvd-rom as well) recognizes theres an encrypted DVD in the drive. But if i put a ps2 game in, it does not recognize there is a encrypted dvd in the drive, however if i double click the drive in my computer, i can see a bunch of files and such. When i run a version of DVD Decrypter my friend gave me, i can select the mode "write" or "read" but when i select a destination on my HDD, it freezes. When i use the DVD Decrypt. I downloaded, I've gotten it to select a destination once out of idk how many (lots of) times. But I can't select the mode on that one. It also freezes. So i found a program that actually took my game and ripped it off the original onto my hdd into .iso form. powerISO is the program. But i tried burning the .iso onto a DVD+R (fyi, with poweriso it gives you options to check a box that says "dvd" otherwise there is a pulldown option called burning method to burn either TAO "track at once" or SAO "session at once" whatever that is. anyway i checked the "dvd" box and it disabled the "TAO and SAO" option. and then i hit burn, also it took me a few trys, each time it said "unable to lock the volume for exclusive access 5") and after it went through the entire thing i put it in the Ps2, and it didn't recognize it and asked me to put in a ps2 disc. My ps2 has been modded with magic keys, and i ran swap magic dvd on it. If you guys can help me out it'd be great, i've gone through many a headaches trying to figure this out, thanks in advance guys I hope you can help!
