HD as a memory card.

can you store memory card files on the PS2 HD and have it load save files form the HD?

if not can this somehow be done with a flash drive?

what im really asking is if there is any alternatives to using a memory card, since they are so little in size (MB) and so expensive ($$).

Thers is way, you can even put iso's on it and play them.

You will need:

Internet Adapter- $20

40gb or higher hd- depends were you get it from, it is possible to use a smaller hard drive but 40gb is recomended.

HdLoader- $20-$30

Orginal Hd ps2 software- dunno

thanks for answering but i don't think u understood my question. i can do all those stuff. i have my mc exploited and everything and i can run games fine on my HD. what im wondering is if there is a way to load save game file straight from the HD or flash drive. im running out of space and i don't want to buy a new memory card. i don't want to backup files and erase the stuff already on my memory card either. so back to my original question. is there a way? if there is how?

umm i have hdloader.. i told you i already have all those stuff. do you know what your talking about? or is there something that i don't know about hdloader that lets me do what i asked previously (the thread topic)

Few games support HD as a memory card, for sure the HD should be an original Sony HD (special firmware) or you need a modchip that can patch ATAD.

Anyway, with uLaunchELF you can backup your MC contents on your HD...
