Help with getting a playstation 2 boot disc!

I was woundering if someone can help me with this problem. Okay here is the problem I have a friend who cant pay playstation 2 dvd formated games, because he has the old model playstation 2 system. It can play the compact disc playstation 2 games that read the blue or black reading side. But it wont read the playstation 2 silver dvd formatted games. I was woundering if someone know a link for a free download of a playstation 2 boot disc zip or rar file so I can unzip it and burn the image file to cd-r and fix his playstation 2 system.

There is no such thing as a PS2 boot disc that you can download and use on an unmodded PS2. Your friends PS2's laser is either worn out or out of alignment.

Thats why this is called a forum. You post, people reply, then you come back and read the reply. Wow, what a concept. Also, there is such a thing as PMs. You can give someone your email address via PM and get help that way. But then your solution would not be public and others who have the same problem will not be able to use your solution.

Basically, if you dont like it here, take a hike. The rules regarding email addresses is to protect you from being spammed, as there are crawlers out there that search forums for email addresses and add them to spam lists.
