do you have to have the network adapter disk to use with hd loader or is it not even useful?

yes, the disc will setup the hd and format it correctly for ps2 use.

you can put the harddrive in the ps2 and formatt it there or hook it up to your pc as secondary drive and use winhiip to format.

now will hd loader format it or does the network disk do that.
