Can anyone tell me what you can use a hard drive for in the PS2 just wondering if I should buy one or not also do you need to subscribe to something to go online with PS2?

You can use it as a giant memory card, play backed up games, and use ps2 linux. You dont have to subscribe.

thanks so its plug and play with the net kewl I have a wireless hub that plugs in through usb can I connect to the net with it plugged into the front?? and do I need any software or like I said is it plug and play?

I honestly doubt that you can connect through wireless hub, through dial-up, dsl cable, ethernet yeah, but not wireless.

You will need:

Internet Adapter- $20

40gb or higher hd- depends were you get it from, it is possible to use a smaller hard drive but 40gb is recomended.

HdLoader- $20-$30

Orginal Hd ps2 software- dunno

where can I get the hd loader I found 1 site but it's credit card only I can only use paypal or a copy if anyone wants to send me a burn of it
