There's probably already a couple of threads on this, but i'm going to try again, because i tried to use those other ways to do it on using those other programs, but i can't seem to get it to work. I don't have AnyDVD because i've already used up my trial. So I was wondering is there a freeware that will back this up. My son keeps wanting to watch this, and keeps taking it out of the case, and i'm scared that he'll scratch it sooner or later. Can someone please help me out with the? thanks
Now I'm not sure if DVDfab can do this movie alone, so here's the way I got it done:
1) Use DVDFab to rip the video files to your hard drive, you should have a VIDEO_TS folder containing the video files at the location you specified on your hard drive.
Unzip and run the .exe file.
For input folder browse to and choose the VIDEO_TS.IFO file created by DVDFab.
For output folder, create a new folder on your desktop (chicken little 2) and choose it for the output location.
On the right side of vobblankers window click on the Proc.ALL button, then click on the PROCESS button at the bottom to start.
Vobblanker will create a new set of files and put them in the chicken little 2 folder you created on your desktop.
3) Delete the old set of files by deleting the VIDEO_TS folder created by DVDFab since you don't need them any more.
4)Rename the chicken little 2 folder to VIDEO_TS.
5) Run DVDshrink and open the files (using the open files tab and browsing to the VIDEO_TS folder containing the files created by VobBlanker and choosing it), at this point you should be able to use shrink as you normally would to create you backup.
hey guys thanks, i figured out how to do it, i just used the trial version of the dvdfab platinum. i tried it again with voblanker still can't seem to work it, but thanks everyone for your help. now i gotta try doing little man, imma head to the other posts. Thanks again.
