I know this is a ps2 forum, but since there is no playstation one, I thought I'd just post here.

I'm thinking og getting myself a bootdisc for my psone.
There are two option IMO: the 'Playstation Boot Disc PS-X-Change V2' and the 'BREAKER PRO'.

They both seem to do the same things, except the breaker pro also supports booting psone games on the ps2. (But I won't be using the ps2 as I don't want to wear out the laser, so that does not matter for me)

Also I see that PS-X-Change supports codes, but I can't seem find out if Breaker Pro also does this? Cheat codes would be plus, but if Breaker Pro is better/or can use codes too, than it too be the better one.

So I need feedback from anyone with any knowhow/knowledge about these bootdiscs. Any feedback is appreciated.

EDIT: Or should I go for a stealth modchip instead of a bootdisc? And which internet shop would you recomend me getting whatever product you think is best?

hahahaha i found the best way to is to do it from the ps2 browser.
what you do is start the ps2 and enter the browser and insert the original psx disc, after the disc icon appears switch the original out for a backup click X and it'll play. Saves money and time:)

Ah who gives a crap. Get a mod chip, easier.
I had a mod-chip in my PSone, worked great until I smashed to bits because I thought I'd never use it again. Well I was wrong and now I regret it.
So I made ways for myself to play PSX on my PS2, using booting methods or exploits (which can be found in these forums).

If Your using a Fliptop to play your backups, you can just use the old gameshark swap trick works great for ps2. Not so well for ps1. anybody know a different way to play backups? (for ps1)
