of course Microsoft are planning on the next system. they're not going to wait 'til you get bored with the 360 and then start on the xbox 720. these system take years to make. sony is doing the same thing with the PS4.

Lmao. First off, Microsoft will be planning/developing a new console.
Now for the funny bits...
*It won't look like that... that's bloody ridiculous IMO.
*It won't be called a 720. That's also ridiculous; it will get a new "next gen" name.

However, there was/is rumor of a 180, which is a portbale(ish) version of the 360.

^^^do you have any source stating that Microsoft have not but will be planning a new console? because based on that qoute from that link, Microsoft already started planning on the next system.

do you have any source stating that it wont be called xbox 720? im not sure if thats what it will be called myself. but i wouldnt say thats not what it would be called unless i hear an official name from microsoft.

and is there such thing as a "next gen" name?

You know, I don't have a source. But, it's called common sense.
I said "planning/developing", which means they are either planning or have started. So you are wrong there.

Also, to be honest, who in there right mind would call it that?

I don't care if there is such thing as a next gen name. But as the next batch of consoles will be called "next gen" as they allways are. That's where my reasoning comes from.

Please don't pick me up when you are wrong, or with stupid points.
