Yes i recently downloaded some software, DVDFAB, and when i went to the file that i copied it to, it's in a format that i can't view anything. and when i click on video there is a bunch of files. Plz help me with some new software to back up my dvds. PLZ HELP ASAP THANKS!!!

Backing up your dvd's isn't that simple. If you want to view the dvd on your HDD, you need something like PowerDVD to play the movie from your harddrive.
Otherwise, you need to convert those files to AVI format to watch on your PC, or burn it to a dvd to watch on Dvd player or PC.
I will let you decided what to do, before we begin :)
BTW the ripper you have is v good.

Ok, so you say DVDFab is good, well how do i view the file, or put it on another dvd after it's on the harddrive?

Ok, to burn it to a dvd, download DVDShrink, and then open those files into shrink. Then click "author" at the top and select and drag the main movie to the little window on the left. Then hit "backup".
Now you can use Nero Burning ROM to burn those files from shrink to a dvd.
Or to view off the HDD you need PowerDVD. Then in that program there is an option to play from your harddrive.

those are all real good programs but i like clone dvd and dvd4free if you just want only the mivie and not the extras
