A quick question about the 360's VGA Adapter cables.....

Hi, I'm new to this whole 360 thing, planning to buy one soon, Gears of War just looks too good to pass up..

Anyway, I was wondering something.... I have a widescreen 19" LCD flat panel monitor that I currently use with my PC....I have read that the 360 has VGA Adapter Cables...

I was wondering, if I bought that cable and hooked it up to my LCD monitor...would the games be displayed in HD, or is it exactly like the old Dreamcast's resolution, which for the time was nothing to cry about, but still...

My point is, I don't watch enough TV to care to get an HD set...unless I have to... The only way I'd have to is is I couldn't view HD quality with my 360 and this VGA Adapter cable....Someone please hook me up with some knowledge... Thanks!!

Yes, you can play in HD if you use the VGA cables.

well then here's another question that's kinda off topic...

Is there some kind of adapter that allows you to hook up, say an HD cable box to an LCD monitor that will give you the equivelant of a cheap HDTV??
