ok i just got my copy of swap magic 3.6 and bought the ff12 usa version....now i put in the tools A, B, and E and now it says the disk is not a playstation 2 disk???? i even got the swap magic thingy running now it doesn't even register the bought usa ff12 (thats right its an import i totally bought it for about 90Aus)...whats wrong i've tried everything... im using a slimline ps2 v77002 black

Are you using Swap Magic Correctly? Basically, you are supposed to run Swap Magic with the disc cover open, so the disc should be able to spin without the cover down.
When you reach the boot screen (and the disc HAS stopped spinning) you can THEN swap discs and press the 'X' button.
Then you can close the disc cover. If you can't run games (or swap magic) with your disc cover open, then you'll have to correctly insert the tools.

P.S I got my copy too! And it works, pity I have to study for my upcoming exams...
