i tried converting an mkv file to dvd and when it does it converts fine but it leaves out the subtitles is there a way to convert it and keep the subtitles

You might be able to stip out the subs with this, then load them into ConvertX.

Hi there,

Internal Subtitles are only supported with the latest v2.1.5.173

All prior versions do not support internal subtitle streams.

ok i tried the new version and when i convert the mkv file to dvd it just has the audio and not the subtitles

Check in the logs, did it see a DVDSUB stream ?

Click Help > Open Log File. That should show a log for each session, the latest one at the top.

You could also look here:
C:\Documents and Settings\(User)\Application Data\Vso

i did not see a dvdsub stream in the log

it tells me that there is no internal subtitle stream in it also when i tried an rm file with subtitles it did the same saying that there is no internal subtitle stream
