hey. i recently bought a computer with a dvd-rw drive.
i have been trying to back up my dvd discs onto a dvd-rw i have bought.
but whichever program i try to use; it comes up with errors, such as the files being write protected and such.
can anyone offer me any advice?no matter how trivial?

i know that i have a dvd minus drive and have bought the according dvd-rw.
But beyond this everything seems to think i am pirating the discs?!?
thanks.
your help is much appreciated

p.s. is it maybe that i am trying to copy dvds in the european format using the wrong program?
