On a backup of the PAL version of Bully I can't get to the Principal's office, because the office never loads... is this normal or is it just a bad burn? My disks are TYG03 and I burn with Alcohol 120%

I got a back-up of it on a Ritek DVD-R and it works fine, id suggest giving it a go on one of these disks then if you still get problems look to something more advanced. Like maybe a laser problem.

there he is

For whatever reason there are loads of people having problems with this game. I have ordered some Verbatim -r so hopefully it will work then.

Verbatim DVD-R is what I'm using, TYG03 is the media ID. Every other game I've backed up has worked on them except for Canis Canem Edit.

Originally my copy didn't work very well:
Canis Canem Edit [PAL]
PS2: Slimline SCPH-77002 PAL
Burned using: DVD Decypter @ x6 using SONY DVD-R
Boot method: Swap Magic 3.6
The game doesn't load very well (or at all) and the PS2 sounded "Like a Machine Gun". Mainly because the laser was trying to read the edge of the disc (thats probably the main problem), so I burned with CDclone instead @ x6 (I can't burn any slower...) worked better, still hear that sound when loading. HOWEVER turns out the PS2 HATES it when my disc cover is down, so when I kept it open (because I GOT TO LAZY TO CLOSE IT...) the game worked perfectly. I guess this only applies to PS2 Slimline users using Swap Magic, found out yesterday anyway.

I backed it up with dvd decryptor, ripped it straight, then burned it back 1x using Maxell dvd+ dvd discs, works fine...saved games load etc...
