I just built a new PC and running WMC as my new OS. I connected everything and did all the updates and I can get pictures and music to stream but when I push the media center button on my 360 remote it goes to a black screen that says "connecting to media center" and then after a short while it goes to a blue screen that says the 360 was disconnected by a user or app. I have retried over and over and made sure all apps are off on my PC. Does anyone have any insight on this and what I should do to fix it. I am using a wireless network.

Yeah I have the update like I said I can stream the video and music and pics but I cant access the media center. I want to do the whole tv thing, has anybody got this to work. I found somewhere that a guy had the same problem and he fixed it by installing a hotfix but I have the hotfix he was missing.

Ok I fixed the problem it was a logon problem. You have to have fast user switching enabled for the 360 to connect to the MCE. here is the link on how to do it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911123/en-us Unfortunately I know there are a lot of people having this problem and it is now going to fall to the depths of AfterDawn while some noob spends days trying to figure what is going on.
