hdd online trouble!!!

I was wondering if i can play my hdd games online. i have hdadvance 3.0 i no i can but what i was really wondering was do i just plug my ps2 hdd to my computer and patch the iso and thats it??????

No you can not go online with the hard drive. Boot the games off the HDD and try to play them online? That is your question right? Well no you can not go online with booting a game off the hard drive. You have to have the disk because it checks for DNAS and you can only get DNAS off an actual disk. If I am wrong it'd be nice if someone could let me know I am wrong, but I am 99% sure that is the case.

I heard it just doesnt work because when you use a hdd, it disables the network adapter, but i want to know if u use a usb hdd it shouldnt disable ur adapter so you should be able to play, right?

Well actually you can go online with the HDD but that is only for Final Fantasy 11, I believe. And that is because the game is made to go online from the hard drive they give you with buying the game. Once again, if I am wrong it'd be nice for someone to let me know if I am wrong or right.
