PLEASE HELP Im in mode b and stuck

Hi all, well i managed to get my hitachi gdr-3120L 47DH into mode b and recognised in windows (my computer drive F:) first time and it still is as i cant go any further with it. Its the command prompt im having trouble with. I go to run, type cmd, get a command prompt window. But alraedy written in the box is my D: drive. It says D:>documents and settings/*********. It wont let me delete this and type my own command and if i type flash21.bat like it says i should i get the message 'flash21.bat is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file' !!
Can anybody PLEASE help as im sat here in mode b scratching my head.

at the command prompt type:
cd (this is for change directory)
then type a space
then type the drive letter you want to look for followed by a colon and a forward slash (your command will look like this (substitue the x with your drive letter)
cd x:\
then press enter key. just a tip - put your flash files on c drive in a folder called flash - your prompt should then be typed in as follows:
cd c:\ (press enter)
cd flash (press enter)
flash21.bat

These windows based kids make me laugh. I'm sorry but if you don't know how to change directories in DOS then you NEED not Flash your 360. I can see this firmware mod is becoming so damn wide spread that people who have no damn computer knowledge at all are going to F*** it up for the rest of us.
Dos Basics:
Change Directory - cd\
Format drive - format "Drive letter":
Exit Dos - EXIT
goodness, read a damn book.

Wow, thanks a lot popsie it worked 100% complete. Turns out i needed to put the files on C: as you said. I have a split hard drive and the cmd was picking the D: side. So excellent thanks.
And PS2Menace. Of course im new to xbox hacking, why else would i be on here?? 50% of people on here dont know what they are doing and want to learn from the likes of you and good old popsie. Why else would a non hacker ever need to use a cmd? And how are people with no computer knowledge going to f**k it up for you all? By asking questions?? Surely you have asked one or two in your early days !

In my early days, the only computer that had any kind of "following" was Amiga and Commodore. Back then, there were no windows. You loaded programs by typing Load "*",8,1
The way you guys are going to f us is because you people who are new to this don't even have the basic computer knowledge to put firmware on a dvd drive. To me, this is one of the most basic things of keeping your computer up to date. Since you people are the majority now out there and damn sure the majority in Xbox 360 game playing, you SWARM. You don't dare read up on a subject first. You ask questions, you want answers, you want it to work PERFECT the first time. EVERYTIME. People like that ask these questions and rush to do this "cool" mod and end up on here with forum topics like "I bricked my 360. Plllleaase help meeeee!" I've been on these forums for a little while now but it's driving me insane. I wish to GOD that people would learn to read before thinking they are the only ones with this problem. Almost to the point of leaving afterdawn. All of your questions have been answered before. If you can't find the answer here.. go to xbox-scene. You are already 100% covered on any and damn near every topic 360 related. Try reading up on it before asking such a BASIC question.

No problem, this is your turf and im gratefull for the help. But do you think id just ask away without reading up first? Course not. If you could see my workspace now you would laugh like f**k. I have about 30 sheets of printed off tutorials scattered everywere, sata cables, floppy disc drive boxes and verbatim discs all over. I have already bricked a samsung 360 because i didnt ask enough questions. All i have done is read, read, read. How else would i know how to get drive in modeb, take apart console etc? You will know that i have asked 2 questions on here regarding my hitachi flash as youve helped me with them both:- one about slax needing to be on cd or dvd, and this one. Both of which i could find NOTHING to help me, hence the questions.
So as much as i apprieciate your help, next time just ignore my post and let someone else help me instead of trying to be the school headmaster and showing your hatred towards us hacking virgins who need a little guidence
