i have mod my own xbox but it was a 47dj and the slax 2 alpha put it in mode b i now need to get a 46 dg and the cd wont do it is there another one that will

If Slax doesn't work the 2 wire trick works every time.

If you use Slax on the same computer and with the same SATA Card as you did with the first hitachi, the second one will also work. Slax is dependant on the SATA chipset, not which model of hitachi drive it is.

it is hatachi 46 dj and i have use the same computer and same sata card but it just wont reconize it

honestly, i would just use the 2 wire trick, very easy and fastm i just used skinny speaker wire shoved it in the sockets and touched them, turned on the 360, waited a couple secs removed connection and started flashing in mode b.
