The trainers might be read only. Try to FTP the halo 2 trainer, unmark the read-only sign and try again.

Also after enabling whatever you want in the trainer, make sure you choose the option "save & close"

if you used an auto installer then the trainers should work.
1. you did make sure to enable them, right?
2. Did you make sure that the trainer was for the version of the game you have. Some trainers are for PAL and other for NTSC. Then there are some that work with either.

All else fails go to Max Consoles and download the Xored Trainer Launcer and the trainer pack for it. This program works great and they are really god about making any trainers you need and getting trainers out very quick on new games.

you will need to sign up for the orums and go to the Xbox trainers section. It is of course a free site.

I like this program because you start the game right from inside it.
You start Xored, then choose the trainer and options, then you press start and it launches the game for you.

the above is a direct link to the site?
Sign up, go to the forums and go to the trainer section under Xbox.
There are also just single trainers, which you can also get to by pressing the botton marked trainers.
Xored 2.2 is just fine.
