I'd go for GOW, 2nd choice is Rainbow 6.
I didn't like FEAR at all, played it on PC: IMO it's kinda dull.

Damn. I actually like Fear. But I'm the type of person that can't spend 500 bucks on a video card for my pc. That's why I got the 360. Me, and my 2 sons can play it without worry.

ive just completed Gears of War and its truly one hard game even in normal setting..cant say whichgame is better out of the 2 titles mentioned as i dont have Vegas yet,but if you havent played Gears then you should as its one of the best games ive played for years..solid action throughout.

i have started playing the online multiplayer on gow and it is REALLY REALLY fun and takes alot of team work

Really, FEAR isn't a BAD game. It's a good shooter. I liked it on the pc. It could've been alot better. But it's been released too late. Had it been released for the 360 when the pc version was I wouldn't doubt that most people (who like shooters) would've been playing it, considering the lack of shooters and poor quality we had available.
But... releasing it with GOW, COD3, Vegas, well those guys just shot themselves in the foot.
