For some reason I cannot copy my copy of The Wild. In DVD Shrink it gets to where it has 3 seconds left and says Ovelapped I/O in progress. With Nero it says it cannot read from file%s and with DVD Decrypter it has read errors. I have also tried dfab decrypter and express and AnyDVD. There is nothing visible on the disk (dirt, scratches, etc.) So I cannot figure out why it wont work. I do have AnyDVD running in the background and it still wont work. I do have a copy on my hd but it says there are errors in file 12 and wont let me pull it up with shrink or Nero. Any help would be great.
Second, AnyDVD comes with a ripper of its own, you can access it by right clicking on the red fox in your taskbar. You can try and use the ripper to get the video files to your hard drive then open them using shrink. If you can't backup that movie, you might have a bad press and will need to exchange it for another as suggested.
Note: if you're going to use DVDFab, disable AnyDVD, they don't play well together.
If you have AnyDVD, and it will not work, then I would think that you must have a bad press as already mentioned. In the off chance that you are trying to use DVDFab Decrypter, ...I can't understand why if you have AnyDVD, ...DVDFab Decrypter as well as Vob Blanker will not work properly while programs such as AnyDVD, DVD43, etc are running in the background.
If this is your choice of action, Make sure none of those programs are running, Have all your programs up to date and re-try. If you continue to have problems, clean your dvd drive, or better yet, just return the original for a better copy.
