Why do I freeze up when I insert my PS2 game into my computer???

OK, I buy my PS2, I buy some HP duel layer DVD+R disks to back up my games. I insert the PS2 game into my DVD burner in my computer and it makes my computer freeze up. It doesn't see the game is even in the drive and any program I open, i.e. DVD Decrypter or my AnyDVD, I have a complete system freeze. Anybody know why????

ok.... so I put in Justice League Heroes and the computer freezes up. Then I flash my DVD burner and then it finally reads the disk. I make the .iso file and then I go to back up another game and that disk freezes up the computer and won't read. Why would one game finally read and the other has a problem?

why would you buy dual layer? unless you have a good mod chip the
PS2 is not going to read a dual layer back up.
And i suppose you do know that without a modded system it will not ready any back up at all.

if i was guessing i would say there is a conflict between the burner and PC somewhere. I have never had a PC freeze up just from putting in a disc. You may want to uninstall the burner and then re-install it to see if that fixes it.
