Hi, ive had a look around the forums and im not getting very far at the moment.
Ive purchased a pioneer 111D and im using verbatim DL discs. The source file I am using is need for speed carbon which is a DVD file and an iso.
I open the DVD file with clone cd and it shows the layerbreak of (LayerBreak=1913760)I burn this at 2.4x and all seems well. But when i put it in my xbox I get the message "unplayable disc"
Any ideas as to what i could be doing wrong? Im tearing my hair out at the moment as i seem to be doing everything correct.
Any help would be great.

Burn at 4x and make sure you have the latest firmware for whichever drive your 360 has.

Ill try it at 4x
Does it matter that my Pioneer 111d is in an external USB enclosure ?
The firmware on my drive is 1.23, but ive heard that updating to 1.29 is producing alot of open tray errors and isnt reccomended yet
also would it make any difference that my files are stored on a usb external 360GB drive and i burn the file directly from there?
I think im just clutching at straws tbh but i cant see how it just cannot work!

make sure you burner can booktype DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM.
Also, I have a hitachi and every game released for NTSC consoles. I can confirm they ALL work with a hitachi and opa 2.3

My region is PAL
I thought the pioneer 111D did not need bitsetting. Could it possibly have someting todo with the drive region code? the first disc i burned the drive was set to no region. Ive just set it to region 2 in device manager.

hi
pioneer burners dont need the booktype reset as its set to rom as standard.i have upgraded my firmware to 1.29 and i have burned verbatim and bulk pak duals with no problems..as for-mentioned update your clone cd to 5.2.9.1 or above fully registered and set ur drive to region 2 and try again at the burn speed mentioned.

DVD Decrypter is ok as long as you know how to use it but it doesnt work for everyone and you have to manually input the layer break code.
as for clone cd and paying for it,i know you can get it from newsgroups or the usual torrrents and cracks for it elsewhere but as a rule we arent allowed to say where here but search and you should find it,although i will warn you that if you go to most crack sites for codes they are littered with viruses and spyware so make sure your protection is up to date
