is there a way to compile several psx games onto one DVD-R and play them on the ps2?

short answer is no, the reason why is becuase in order to use the psx (backup's) you need breaker pro or some other from of loader in which there are cd loaders they don't load dvd and also psx in the ps2 wouldn't read them anyways if they was dvd.

Cd's don't cost too much and unlike ps2 dvd's there not picky with the brand of the disc.

Also PSX games are on CDs so why put them on DVDs?

I have a slimline PS2 with an action replay Max Evo edition. I'm using a USB thumbdrive to launch cdloader.elf to play backups of my PS2 collection. I was wondering though, how do I get it to work with the back up of PSX games? I launch the cdloader after doin' the max media player deal, and then I hit triangle, put the psx game in, and load it. When it says press X and says like 'Put in DVDR by EA method' I put the back up of the psx game in and it freezes. Any ideas?

My apologies for posting this on the wrong forum...I'm not sure if this is a breach of the rules seeing as the thread title is psx on ps2....

if you would like you can just swap from the ps2 browser. just start the ps2 go to the browser insert the ps1 game and when the disc icon pops up just swap the psx game for your backup :)

I would, except cause i used the tape all the sensors to shit, method, it won't read any discs after i turn on the ps2....i'm silly i know, but for the swap method, it works great with ps2 games....
