Keep failing to burn image, Iam using image burn and verbatim dvd double layer discs any help pls

The only other thing I can see is your firmware is out of date. The latest is TS02. I do know that SCDA release is good and you're using Verbs and burning at 2.4x, so that's good.
Is this the first game you're trying to burn?

Yes this is the first game i have tried burning, i think the firmware is the problem as i cant change the book type to dvd rom. do you know were i can get the latest firmware so i can change the book type?

Where is the layer break set, in the .DVD file?
What program are you using to burn, I know when using CloneCD or DVDDecryptor etc you need to physically add the layer break in the application and REMOVE that entry completely from the .DVD file.
LEt me know what app you are burning with, this will help.

i used image burn , ithink the drive is broken i have tried to make a data disc and that fails as well

I think you need to specify the layer break in ImgBurn as well rather than in the .DVD file.
