Hi ......

I just bought a dvd rewriter bundled with Nero 5.5 ..... Does this encode avi's to mpeg-2?

I have tried TMPGenc but it only seems to give the option for mpeg-1, which isnt good enough for what i want. Plus the fact that it says that the file I am encoding is way too big .. even though it isnt!

I am getting more & more confused with each day ..... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nero offers a DVD encoder. It is necessary to burn DVDs using Nero.

Nero 6 does, the recode function has just been fixed on Nero 6. Make sure to donwload a fresh copy if yours is more than 3 days old.
