.rar to avi conversion - HOW?

I download a torrent with .rar features - how do I convert this to .avi or something that I can burn to a DVD?

Help would be appreciated

This is a system that torrents use to make it easier to send parts of a file during file sharing. It packs an image file or any file into little parts making multiple RAR files.

In order to unpack these parts you need to download a program like WinRAR and choose the first RAR file to open and then extract the files from the RAR files.

You only have to choose the first RAR file WinRAR then will automatically unpack the rest giving you the file that was packed.
