Right! I want to convert a DVD movie to a micro SD card, but first things first, I still dont know what VTS, VOB and IFO all stand for?

I bought a 1GB micro SD card for my Samsung D900. I use "ImTOO MP4 Video Converter" trial download to convert most clips, however it has a 5min restriction on it, can I get around this or do I need to buy the complete software???

Once I am able to convert a 90min movie to my phones ratio, using the software (MP4 352x240 1200bitrate) Will it then fit onto the 1GB micro card???

any1 help! :-(

1200 seems a little high for that resolution. Although I suppose it supports SP MPEG-4 only? Still saves on battery due to lower decoding overhead.

As for ImTOO. You have basically three choices
1) Use a freeware alternative. Probably the same quality or better isnce ImTOO would be using opensource libs for encoding anyway.
2) Buy ImTOO.
3) Break the law/board rules.

Rought calculations say you have around 1590kbs combined bitrate for 90mins. You also have to take into account container overhead and any files the phone might place on the card. Still 1200 would leave plenty of headroom.

Hi celtic_d, could you please explain the difference between VTS and IFO? When I back up media of about 90mins it gets broken down in VTS_VOB files? How can I play this as one VOB file?

Because if I want to convert it on my phone MP4, it has to be one file, otherwise it be played in parts

Can you help!? ;-)

Rip in IFO mode without splitting if possible and you will get a single VOB.
