The ribbon that connects from the power button to the chasis jas been disconected so I cant turn on the ps2, does anybody here know how I can reattach it? I tried opening my mates ps2 and comparing but I think I buggered his one as well.

If anyone can help I will hook them up with a supermodel. thankyou

it is only a partial guide because they only give the full one to customers. But you will get the idea since it goes to the point where it shows you how to remove the old cable, this will show you where to plu it back it. Be careful when you do all this.

thanks for replying steimy, I opened it all up and I fixed it, yes studying mechanical engineering has its benefits!!

no problem man, had to do it myself years agon when i opened mine to put on a flip top. I pulled out the power/eject ribbon.
Then i realized how crappy Swap Magic was and switched to a system with a good modchip.
