noone seems to be able to help......after i compile a cd{any format} when i click burn.it locks up................help.maybe i have to disable the windows media player recorder but dont know how.help please anyone

have you tried other burning software, other than what i presume (nero)?

Are you even sure that it is you media 9 player that has caused the problem?

Have you re-installed your drivers? or updated them if there is an update patch?

Also, have you deleted the software and then re-installed it?

I believe XP has an update for this? Look for something along the lines of: Q320174_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU. That is the CD Burning fix for XP (there may be a newer one.., havent checked in awhile)
